Sublime is the first international sustainable lifestyle magazine, inspiring people since 2004 to advance social and environmental sustainability. Founded by Damian and Laura Santamaria in 2004, Sublime is the first international sustainable lifestyle magazine. Our mission is to unify, empower, and amplify the voices that are creating the just society we want for us and our future generations.

We run initiatives such as the Good Brand Awards, to reward organisations that don’t do ‘business as usual’, recognising their efforts to build a new economic model based on social and environmental respect.  We tackle subjects like ethical fashion, eco-travel, climate change, sustainable business, and post-consumerism.

Our Manifesto:

Now that the future happened yesterday
Now that we are not what we can buy
Now that we don’t want to get anywhere any faster
Now that we want to make poverty history
Now that people are the most important thing for people
Now that we know that the greatest risk is not to risk
Now that we don’t need to be asleep to dream
Now it’s time to start again.

#SaveTheSoilSaveTheWorld

The Need To GROW is a feature documentary following underdog leaders of decentralized solutions and cutting edge technologies to fix our broken food system and regenerate our planet’s dying soils. With an estimated 60 years of farmable soil left on Earth, more toxic chemicals sprayed than ever before, seed varieties going extinct, bees dying off, historic water shortages, epidemics of malnutrition, the time to heal our food system, our environment and ourselves is now. But can we feed the world without destroying it?

Narrated and Executive Produced by Rosario Dawson (Marvel’s Daredevil, Lego Batman, Rent), the film offers an intimate look into the hearts of activists and innovators - an 8 year old girl challenges the ethics of one of the most beloved organizations in the country - a renegade urban farmer struggles to keep his land as he revolutionizes resource efficient agriculture - and an accomplished visionary inventor faces catastrophe in the midst of developing a solution that could change the world.

The Need To GROW delivers the most alarming research on why soils are so important to our ecosystem - it reveals not only the potential of localized food production models that work with nature, but more importantly, reveals our potential as active participants in an interconnected biosphere to become a planetary force to restore the Earth.
